Got an email this morning from Gourmet-Guitars, said I was in there database and to check the info for accuracy. Sure enough I'm there. Anybody hear of these people? Gourmet Guitars |

told me I was there as well. When I looked at luthiers I only saw Ervin Somogyi listed. Stupid me...under "database". So what did I win? ![]() |

They were making the rounds, introducing themselves, at the last Healdsburg Festival. Nice people, nice site. |

Holger and Cindy (Gourmet Guitars) are great people. Musicians, songwriters, filmakers. They're combining these interests to produce a series of DVDs featuring luthiers from around the world. I saw a pre-release version of Volume One and really enjoyed it. Some very interesting perspective and lots of beautiful/inspirational work on the DVD. This series should be of interest to all builders and guitar enthusiasts in general. |

Makes you wonder what standards were set for inclusion given the motly crew they picked from here. ![]() |

Guess I didn't make the list. The only Okie luthier I see is our buddy John. Oh well, maybe next year. ![]() |

That maple bass that is one of the thumbnails on the home page (as you click through the squares on the bottom) is really cool.... anyone know who did that? |
